Dedicated Service over Satellite ...
A transparent, bi-directional
connection by satellite is made available thanks to the BuCVS-Connectivity Service,
where selected national and international point-to-point connections can be
established easily. BuCVS-Connectivity Service is using SCPC (Single Channel
Per Carrier) technology which is available in one-way or two-way modes with
dedicated capacity providing a permanently available data path. SCPC can be
used in shared hub, customer hub or hub-less configurations and managed
centrally from a Teleport or customer premises. The connection can be either
symmetrical (e.g. for voice transmission) or asymmetrical (e.g. for internet).
Normally, in this case, an antenna is installed at the end user point of the
connections, that can be anything from 1,80 m up to
3,80 m high. This enables
complete and total independence from any terrestrial network infrastructure.
You can use our Teleport close to Frankfurt (Germany), when antennas cannot be
brought to the customers specific branches and computer centers. In this case
the customer`s computer centre is connected by means of terrestrial lines with a teleport run by BuCVS.
